About a year and a half ago I shared an absolutely blazing track called “Burning Holes” that was sent along to me from Danish band Why Write? Project leader Jacob Faurholt has put that moniker on hold for the time being and recorded a solo album called Dark Hours under his given name. The sparse and foreboding “Creatures in the Sea” comes with the very aquatic video above and vocals and piano from Sóley of Icelandic band Seabear. Dark Hours drops August 15 through Raw Onions Records.
